Tioga Community Care Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located
in Rapides Parish, owned and operated by CommCare Corporation. Our staff specializes in providing skilled nursing, long term care, and short term
rehabilitation such as physical, speech, occupational and restorative therapies. Our state of the art facility works
closely with other regional medical facilities, including Rapides Regional Medical
Center, Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, Dubuis Hospital of Alexandria,
Riverside Hospital of Alexandria, Oceans Behavioral Hospital of Alexandria,
Woodlands Behavioral Center of Winfield, Hartdner Medical Center in Olla, LA and
the VA Medical Center of Alexandria and Shreveport in transition to nursing home
arrangements
Wound Care Unit: The facility also features a wound care unit that specializes in
treating wounds of various types including stasis ulcers and press areas. Tioga Community Care Center takes pride in working with residents and their
families for the best possible outcome, whether that means long term care or
specialized rehabilitation for short term stays.

💜 SAVE LYDIA – JEAN DAY FUNDRAISER 💜

Our community is coming together to support sweet Lydia, a vibrant 3-year-old battling Sanfilippo Syndrome—a rare, terminal, degenerative disease that slowly takes away the skills children have learned and causes seizures, movement disorders, pain, and dementia.

On Friday, November 21st, we’re asking everyone to join us for Jean Day!

We are gearing up for a joyful holiday season, and our sweet residents have shared what would make Christmas extra special this year… cozy soft blankets and chocolate covered cherries! 🍫🛌❤️

We are hoping to collect 150 blankets and 150 boxes of chocolate covered cherries!

Every donation brings warmth, comfort, and a smile to someone who could really use a little extra love this season. ❤️

Tioga King is Mr. Robert and our Queen is Ms. Elizabeth from our pageant during nursing home week both got to represent us in the region pageant last night at the Pineville community center.

A few of our staff and both our residents families joined us in cheering them on Mr. Robert got first runner up and Ms. Elizabeth looked gorgeous and they both had a amazing night, full of memories.

Big shout out to our CNA’s and nurse Regina who help get them ready feeling like superstars. Megan our nurse did Ms. Elizabeths hair and make up made her shine bright. Sherri Account Manager for being a taxi driver for the night .
