If you at any point have collaborated, partnered with or been engaged at any level with our wonderful RDS team over the last 12 years at least, you most definitely should know Mr. Sal!🥰 Friday 11/21 was his last day working at Rutgers Day School! We all wish him the very best in his future endeavors and know that wherever he goes next, that team will most definitely be fortunate and blessed to have him! Mr. Sal we love you, we’ll miss you, and wish you the very, very best moving forward in your continued journey!🥰🥰

The Wisdom Island classroom focused on the “power of words”:

Began with reading: The concept was words have power so they identified and analyzed quotes from the story “Fish in a Tree” to make real world connections.

Next:  in science they made additional connections and created a digital visual.

Lasty, they translated their visual connections into beautiful and colorful digitalized “Thankful Turkeys”.
