It is with great sadness that the New Jersey Department of Corrections announces the passing of Michael Nitsche, Institutional Trade Instructor, Carpentry, of Bayside State Prison.

Mr. Nitsche began his career at Southern State Correctional Facility 25 years ago, before transferring to Bayside upon its closing. He will be deeply missed by his colleagues and friends throughout the Department.
