Weekly Gratitude List: My greenhouse all dressed up for the holidays. This morning's yoga message, seek the light…seek peace… My cleaned up hair, I sure did need it! New projects! Lots of freshly baked breads in our near future! Speaking of bread, did you know?? Freshly milled grain keeps the whole kernel, so it has more nutrients, fiber, and flavor. Regular flour is refined for shelf life, which removes much of that natural nutrition. Nature always knows!!

Who remembers the ultra skinny fad in the 90’s? Personally, I hate seeing it returning! Being strong is so much more beneficial than being rail thin! Personally, I’m not interested in shrinking myself, I am becoming my strongest self yet! Strength training is the magic pill for longevity and it makes you feel amazing too! This was such a full week loaded with gratitude moments. First up, my hens are thriving and providing! Second up, a very wise lady quoted “We are thankful for the unknown blessings and opportunities that are being orchestrated right now for our future selves.” This quote felt fitting for 51! Finally, my library yoga family! What a blessing to be able to breathe and move with such a sweet community every Friday!

I wrote a new birthday blog post, and this one feels special. Turning fifty one puts me right in the middle of two centuries. Half my life in the 1900s, half in the 2000s. That math surprised me, but it also made me think about what it means to age well.
