Just want to pop on our soap box for a moment to stress how much of an impact you can have in shopping local this holiday season. While things might seem back to normal in our area, small businesses that did not receive physical damage from the flood are still in a tight spot as what is generally our busiest time of the year was simply not so.

Please try to support local as much as possible... Shopping for someone who has everything? Give an experience - a gift card to a restaurant, a paddle down the French broad, a bike rental, or tickets to a show...
