I never want to stop learning or being a student no matter how long I’ve been on the mat and that is one of the things that keeps me coming back. The amount of learning and unlearning will never get old…I’ve also learned a lot about the ego, man is she a bitch sometimes …

I think one of the things that drew me to yoga was the community.. that and literally not thinking about anything other my body + breath for over an hour(seems more like a luxury today,scary.)

We’ve taken for granted what the true essence of community really means, how could we have gotten ourselves so far from nature? But here we are, lessons we learn, rest, restore, rebuild, repeat.

Maybe it’s the idea of having a space to completely call your own, away from your family or friends, a space where new friends are made from like minded people, awareness + peace.

Community is so special to me, especially this community that we’ve been able to build here at Dharma, it’s definitely one of a kind and special to me and my heart.

I’m never surprised at how this community shows up for themselves or each other or even me or my teachers. The relationships that have blossomed. The hard work and dedication to not only the physical practice but mental one. The growth that has happened here.

Grateful doesn’t even touch the surface.
