Because words really do matter AND every one of us can BE the change
Words Matter.
Written words are just as powerful as spoken. With social media and cell phones, we seem to be doing much more writing than speaking. With the ability to hide behind those screens, we often forget there’s a face on the other side reading those passionate words.
My core value has always been to BE the change I wish to see. I prefer to do it silently, anonymously and mostly without recognition. Sometimes I fall short. Sometimes I forget. Sometimes I speak or do things that are opposite of the change I wish to BE in this world. But you know, it’s super easy to lift myself back up and be kind. Kindness is so much easier. Positive words feel so much better to write than negative. I challenge everyone to write only kind words in every text, email, and social post you make today. I promise you’ll feel SO MUCH happier. Words matter! They matter to us. They matter to those reading them.
