Step into the shadows for a frightful Halloween Bash… if you dare! 👻

Our residents and staff conjured up a night full of eerie fun, from haunting tunes on the dance floor to ghoulish games and spine-chilling surprises around every corner. But the real showstopper? The spooky spread crafted by our incredible dining team! 🕸️🕯️

From “booschetta” caprese, to colorful cookies with eyeball sprinkles, cupcakes dripping in “glass” sugar shards and red glaze, and brownies transformed into tiny graveyards - every detail was deliciously dreadful. Even the blackened “bat wing” chicken wings and severed-finger cookies (complete with almond nails!) had everyone gasping in delight. 🍬💀

It may only be October, but holiday preparations are already starting at Galloway Ridge!

Our talented quilters have once again partnered with the Triangle Woodworking Association to support the Marines' Toys for Tots Program.

For over 30 years, the Triangle Woodworking Association has crafted wooden toys for the program - donating over 6,000 toys each year!

To pair with the woodworkers' handcrafted doll beds, our quilters create beautiful mattresses. After last year's practice with their process, they have the mattress-making down to a science - just take a look at their efficient process.

We’re honored to support these incredible organizations and celebrate the spirit of giving!

- Wildlife Camera Sightings🦌🌿

Have you ever wondered what goes on in the Galloway Ridge woods after dark? Thanks to one of our talented residents, Norm, we have a fascinating glimpse into the secret life of our local wildlife!

Five cameras are currently set up across the property, from the woods south of the ponds to the Serenity Trail, capturing deer, coyotes, raccoons, and even a few late-night feline visitors. One camera even sends photos via Wi-Fi 24/7, offering a window into the parts of our campus we rarely see.

Meet Emily! 🌟 As our Senior Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Emily pours her heart into everything she does, from welcoming new residents to making sure the Galloway Ridge story shines bright. 💫

When she’s not busy connecting with future residents, you might find her tending to her garden, quilting something cozy, or whipping up something sweet in the kitchen. She also has one of the most meaningful volunteer roles, spending her time each week as a Cuddle and Play volunteer at UNC Children’s Hospital. 💙

We’re so lucky to have Emily’s creativity, compassion, and positivity as part of our community! If you see Emily around, be sure to stop and say hi!
