Caught you caring 💙 Celina is one of the many faithful Care Home staff members who went above and beyond during the recent storms, making personal sacrifices to ensure our residents were safe and well cared for. We are truly grateful for her heart of service.

We had another joyful time at our February birthday celebration! In keeping with this month’s theme of love, we enjoyed learning more about one another through birthday interviews, singing together, and sharing cake and ice cream. We’re thankful for these moments of community and the blessing of life together.

Love has been in the air at PCV this week ❤️

This month started off with Valentine crafts and celebrating our sweethearts, it has been a joyful reminder of what truly matters. As 1 Corinthians 13 tells us, love is patient, love is kind, and it never fails. We are thankful for a community where that kind of love is lived out every day in big and small ways.

Grateful to the Lord for laughter around the tables, creative hands at work, and brothers and sisters in Christ who continue to reflect His faithfulness through the years.

We praise the Lord for His protection and care throughout the recent storm. We are deeply thankful that He kept our residents and campus safe.

We are especially grateful for the many dedicated staff members who stayed overnight in our guest accommodations to ensure that care, meals, and essential services continued without interruption. Their willingness to serve sacrificially is a blessing to our entire community.

We thank the Lord for faithful servants, for His provision, and for His constant care over the body here at Pittsboro Christian Village.

We enjoyed a warm and cheerful afternoon at Pittsboro Christian Village with cookies, hot cocoa, and a fun variety of hats, just in time before the coming storm. We are praying that the Lord would continue to protect us and keep everyone safe and warm over the weekend. We are thankful that we serve a good God who not only knows the future, but faithfully holds it in His hands.

Today we want to give a big thank you to Jocelyn Cano, CNA, for the joy and care she brings to Pittsboro Christian Village every day. Jocelyn is always positive, fun, and smiling, and she takes the time to genuinely build relationships with our residents.

We are truly thankful to the Lord for people like Jocelyn who serve with such kindness, consistency, and heart. PCV is a better place because of you!

We had a wonderful time celebrating the many January birthdays in our community! It’s always a joy to gather together and give thanks for another year of the Lord’s faithfulness in each life.

During our time together, we reflected not only on our physical birthdays, but also on the gift we all share as believers, a second birthday through new life in Christ. Residents shared favorite Bible verses that have encouraged them over the years, including reminders to rejoice in the Lord always, the promise that Jesus is with us always, and the incredible gift of God’s Son.

And of course, no birthday celebration is complete without cake! 🎂 A special thank-you to Lauren for creating a stunning cake inspired by the aurora borealis, almost too beautiful to cut into!

What a blessing it is to celebrate life, faith, and the hope we share together in Him. 💙

What a great way to close out the year together at Pittsboro Christian Village. Our New Year’s Eve party was filled with singing, a special slideshow, and a sweet time of prayer as we reflected on the year behind us.

We took time to remember how the Lord provided through the good seasons and the harder ones, and to give thanks in all circumstances, just as He calls us to do (1 Thessalonians 5:18). The afternoon was made even better with an incredible meal and desserts prepared by our amazing dining staff.

We ended our time praying that the Lord would be glorified in the year ahead and that we would continue to trust Him in whatever comes. A huge thank you to Sarah, Jen, Evita, Sherry, our PCV kids, and the entire dining staff for all the work, care, and joy they poured into making the party so special.

Christmas dinner at Pittsboro Christian Village was made extra special with the kids and staff playing live piano music and singing! Along with a delicious meal and time together around the tables, it was a wonderful way to celebrate Christ during this Christmas season.

We had a great time last Friday at our PCV Staff Christmas Party! What a joy to celebrate our PCV staff! We are deeply thankful for each one who serves the Lord by caring for His people with such dedication. Great food, fun games, and meaningful time of encouragement made for a wonderful evening. Huge thanks to Sarah for coordinating such a fantastic night. Please join us in thanking our staff, they are a true gift from the Lord to our community.

Christmas joy filled our Care Home as residents were blessed with gifts from local assemblies, fellow residents, and our staff. Add in snacks, singing, and sweet moments together, and it was another Christmas full of joy. 🎄❤️
