We had the pleasure to have Always Accurate Hospice and Care Big Personal Services out this morning for a fun and festive start to our day 💐

Everyone got creative with their hat bar, designing their very own hats full of color, personality, and lots of laughter along the way👒

To make the day even more special, the Easter Bunny made a surprise visit, bringing smiles, hugs, and plenty of joy to go around! 🐣💛

Moments like these are what it’s all about—creating memories, sharing laughter, and celebrating together.

Our residents were filled with joy making Easter centerpieces with you today! 🌷🐰

There was lots of creativity, laughter, and sweet moments shared while putting together beautiful spring decorations. It’s always a joy spending time together and making memories with such amazing people.

Thank yall for all you do! We can’t wait for the next event 🩷

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day 🇺🇸

This morning, Southern Wind Manor was honored to participate in the local Veterans Day program. We were deeply moved by the tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country with courage and sacrifice.

We are so grateful for our veterans—past and present—who protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. Thank you for your service, your strength, and your example. ❤️🤍💙

She in the dark from light. Brighter than many ever see. She, within herself, found loveliness. Through the soul's own mastery. And now the world receives from her dower; The message of strength of inner power.
Our sweet friend, Kitty Jones went to be with the Lord on November 6th. She leaves behind many family and friends each with special memories to cherish. Over the years Kitty and I did many an art project from painting to gardening she was always down for a craft. We shared many a laugh for the crafts that went awry. Kitty was a beautiful soul that never forgot to write a birthday card. Many of us were the recipients of her beautiful cards. I know I cherish each one she has given me. Her smile was infectious lighting up the way. Kitty loved a schedule, I could set my watch by her. I, like many others looked forward to our daily chats. She was a woman of faith that I know is dancing on streets of gold with loved ones that had gone on before her. Kitty loved her boys with all she was, she told us all the time how proud she was of the men they had become. Family was huge to kitty, all her crafts were made with a child or grandchild in mind to gift it to. Rest in Peace my sweet friend, send us a letter from heaven. You'll be missed but never forgotten. Love you always.

You brightened up the world,
and so very selflessly, gave everything you had and brought so much joy to me.
You guided me so wisely and you're so sorely missed each day and the only comfort is the memories that will never fade away.You were both so very special and although losing you brought pain, you now are both together. And one day we'll meet again.
Mrs. Dorothy Price was reunited with the love of her life, Charles on what would have been their 70th wedding anniversary. We take comfort in knowing that they are together again. Dorothy was a special lady of our Southern Wind family. She brought a smile to everyone that knew her and kept us on our toes. I'll never forget the year she won Valentine's queen and how much her face lit up from ear to ear that she got to share that with her husband. Dorothy loved her family fiercely always talking about how proud she was of them. Her smile lit up the room.
I looked forward to every day, watching her walk by and sharing a quick hello. Rest easy, Ms. Dorothy. Your work here on earth is done. We'll see you soon on the other side.
