The love language we don't talk about.

It's the quiet act of someone choosing to work on themselves.

Not just for their own sake, but for the health of the relationship.

It’s easy to say “That’s just how I am,” and expect others to accept our flaws and triggers as unchangeable parts of us.

But real love ..... deep, mature love, looks different.

It’s someone who recognizes their wounds and patterns, and instead of making them your burden, takes responsibility for their healing.

It’s the partner who notices when their words cut too deep, or when old habits threaten new happiness, and chooses to do the work to grow.

You deserve someone who doesn’t expect you to simply tolerate the parts of them that hurt you.

You deserve someone who sees the impact of their actions and is willing to change, not because you demand it, but because they care about your peace, your safety, and your heart.

Love isn’t just about grand gestures or sweet words.

Sometimes, it’s about accountability.

It’s about someone who looks at their own reflection and says, “I want to be better for me, for you, for us.”

That’s the kind of love that builds trust, deepens connection, and heals old wounds.

Always remember .... you are worthy of a love that grows.

Of a partner who chooses healing over excuses, effort over complacency.

Don’t settle for less than someone who’s willing to do the work, because that’s a love language that will last a lifetime.

I know a few of u have Seen my post about the Lions Club and the Leo club. Leo club in Pittsburg is going on their second year of their charter. The club consist of children age 12 and up. They run this club themselves . It is completely theirs with only 1 adult advisor (me). When I was younger we had more opportunities to volunteer and to do community service. There are not a lot og opportunities for young children now. I want to change that, I want them to experience what it's like to give of yourself for others. I believe it really truly does change us as a human being. The Leo club here in Pittsburg is having a parking lot sale this Saturday the 19th in the Smiths Furniture parking lot starting at 9 am. We are taking donations for items we can sell. The money will go to benefit our own young presidents family who was recently stricken by a terrible wreck that left their father out of work and unable to afford medical cost for his care. If that wasn't enough a few days ago their 27 yo daughter was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had just started a new job so her insurance was not In effect. She must have the cancer removed but they can not afford the cost. The money raised will help this family. If you can please come visit the sale this Saturday and /or donate a few items to sale it would be greatly appreciated. We are also collecting used electronics in an effort to clean up toxins from landfills. We can take those broken or old electronics off ur hands. We can not take tv's or computer monitors the scrap yard will pay us and dispose of the e-waste appropriately.
