This is a stone that has been dug up cleaned and carefully pieced together and reset. I’m not positive but I think it reads: Thus has fallen the last of the framers of the first constitution of Illinois.

This little cemetery out in the country has so much historical history!!! It is maintained by donations only I am going to be adding some pictures of some work that began early spring & a unnamed person has been down there yesterday & today working on uncovering & restoring some of its historical stones. I will post more at a later time with some history but just felt the need to share this now.
