March is National Social Work Month, so it feels especially meaningful that I’m STILL reflecting on the 6th Annual SWAG: Social Worker Appreciation of Greatness Awards Event, “Where Heart Meets Impact,” held on March 7, 2026.

It was a beautiful evening filled with heart, purpose, connection, and people who are truly committed to making a difference in the lives of others. As someone whose work is centered around advocacy, education, support, and walking alongside families through some of life’s most important transitions, being part of an event like this was especially meaningful.

I’m always grateful for opportunities to be in spaces where compassion, leadership, and service are celebrated — because that is where real impact begins.

Thank you to everyone, especially Sharise Nance, who made the evening so special and so inspiring.
