She met Doreen three years ago, and she quickly became not only a colleague but a trusted friend and mentor. Doreen's warmth, wisdom, and generosity of spirit shaped Jennifer's work and life in lasting ways.

Through her writing, education, and advocacy, Doreen helped families better understand dementia with empathy and care, while walking beside them through every stage of the journey. Her influence continues through the professionals, caregivers, and loved ones she inspired.
