Massage by Regina & Co. — November Newsletter
🍂 Hello November!
As the days grow shorter and we roll into the holiday season, November offers a natural transition—time to slow down, reflect, and deepen our self-care routines. At Massage by Regina & Co., we’re here to support your body, mind, and spirit as we move into this season of gratitude and renewal.
🍁 Health & Wellness Tips for November
1. Embrace the shift in seasons
Cooler air, falling leaves, and changing daylight all affect our body rhythms. Use this time to incorporate gentle movement—brisk walks, stretching, or yoga—to keep circulation strong and muscles limber. This is great prep for your massage session.
2. Hydrate, nourish & protect
As the air gets colder and drier, our tissues tend to tighten. Staying well-hydrated remains important! Focus on nutrient-rich, seasonal foods (root vegetables, squashes, leafy greens) to support your body and immunity.
3. Prioritize rest & recovery
With holidays approaching and routines shifting, be mindful of your sleep and recovery. Good rest enhances the benefits of massage and helps you process the bodywork more fully.
4. Manage holiday stress ahead of time
November often signals the start of the busy season—family visits, travel, shopping, hosting. Be proactive: take short mindful breaks, practice deep breathing, or gently massage your temples and neck to reduce tension buildup.
5. Keep up your self-care between sessions
Your massage appointments are key, but so is what you do between visits. Try warm baths, light stretching, mindful posture, or foam-rolling. These small actions help extend the relaxation and benefits of your sessions.
💆 How to Get the Most from Your Massage
Before your session
Arrive a few minutes early to relax and transition from your day.
Drink some water beforehand to help support circulation.
Let us know of any new soreness, stress, or changes in your body.
During the session
Breathe deeply and allow your body to relax fully.
Speak up if pressure needs adjusting—your comfort is always priority.
Allow your thoughts to quiet—this is your time to rest.
After the session
Continue hydrating and move gently afterward.
Enjoy quiet time or a short nap if possible to let your body integrate the work.
Expect mild soreness in well-worked areas; this usually fades within a day or two.
💰 Important Service Update for 2026
We want to share a few updates regarding our session options and pricing to help you plan ahead for the new year.
To continue providing the highest quality care and to reflect rising supply and operating costs, we’ll be making a few updates beginning January 1, 2026:
🕘 New Rates
75-minute massage: $120 per session
90-minute massage: $140 per session
These changes help ensure we can maintain the premium oils, linens, and individualized care that make your experience exceptional.
⏳ Retirement of 2-Hour Sessions
Also beginning January 1, 2026, 2-hour massage sessions will no longer be offered.
We’ve made this change to ensure that each client receives the most restorative and effective care within sustainable session lengths for both clients and therapists.
If you’d like to enjoy one last extended 2-hour session before year’s end, please book it soon — they’ll be available through December 31, 2025.
Thank you for your continued support as we refine our services to bring you the best possible care.
