Do you spend your days behind a desk, driving long hours, or constantly reaching and lifting? 👋

You might be feeling the effects of a tight Teres Major — often called the “lat’s little helper.” 💪

This small but powerful muscle connects your shoulder blade to your upper arm and plays a big role in pulling, reaching, and rotating your arm. When overworked or shortened (thanks to posture, repetitive movement, or stress), it can cause:

🔥 A deep ache behind the shoulder
🔥 Tenderness near the armpit
🔥 Pain that radiates down the back of your arm

Common culprits?
🚗 Long commutes or hands high on the steering wheel
💻 Hours at the computer with rounded shoulders

Since we had such great community support for our clothing drive last year, Waxology will be doing a non-perishable food drive to donate to local food banks for the duration of November! The bin is located outside of our office suite door and you can drop things off anytime. If you have can, please consider donating to help those affected by hunger this season.

The latissimus dorsi (or “lats”) are the large, fan-shaped muscles that give your back its strength and shape. They help you pull, reach, lift, and even breathe deeply — but when overworked, they can hold onto a lot of tension.

You might feel it if you…
💪 Do repetitive pulling or lifting (think workouts, heavy bags, or childcare)
