The primary goal of this comprehensive introduction series is to increase understanding of trauma, trauma treatment & the basic tools to support safety & stabilization so participants can better manage trauma-related symptoms & prepare for deeper work.

This is an 8 week series, covering the following topics:

Session 1 - Understanding Trauma
Session 2- How the Body Stores Trauma
Session 3- Self-Soothing Basics
Session 4- Emotion Identification
Session 5- Awareness of Survival Mechanisms and their Role
Session 6- Types of Therapy
Session 7- Self-Care and Support Systems
Session 8- Closing and Next Steps

*Each participant is required to be in individual therapy to ensure individualized support.

Although a snowstorm rolled in right as we started, over half of our Team made it to our annual holiday party! ☃️ This year we made mosaic lamps.

These folks work day in and day out to serve and bring healing our community. Each of them make this world a better place and deserve to be celebrated! 🙏 I could not be more proud or grateful for each of them!

Another successful year in the books sponsoring the Moon Halloween Spooktacular held by Moon Parks & Recreation at Robert Morris University!

We had so much fun with The Wizard of OZ theme this year! Our Intake Coordinator (Ashley) and Interns (Rose, Sarah, & Kirsten) did a fantastic job hosting the community for this free event!
