Thank you for inviting me back to facilitate a self-care presentation with your students. This year, I discussed "Fatigue & Burnout: Support & Self-care" and the students had great feedback and insight on preventing compassion fatigue and burnout and what self-care looks like for them.

I am rooting for all of you as you navigate finishing your Spring 2026 semester.

"From Self-Neglect to Self-love" Interview Description:

"In this powerful 'Shame to Shine' interview, Ta’lor L. Pinkston, "The Heart Advocate," shares her courageous journey of transforming shame and self-neglect into self-love and empowerment.

A licensed self-love social worker and mental health professional, Ta’lor opens up about her experience in a verbally and psychologically abusive relationship during pregnancy and postpartum. Despite being trained to help others, she found herself trapped in silence and shame—until the practice of self-love became her lifeline.

Today, Ta’lor uses her story to teach others how to make self-love a coping skill—a daily practice of compassion, boundaries, and worthiness that changes everything."

I Am Here For Your Heart ...

Hello beautiful people. I am Ta’lor L. Pinkston, The Heart Advocate and am dedicated to bringing self-love, mental health support, and Healing Over Everything to the heart of every woman. Feeling safe enough to share and be transparent is so important in our journey and I am a safe-space in virtual therapy, in my support group, and as a speaker and workshop facilitator.

My Goal: For every girl and woman to know her worth by becoming a Heart Advocate.

My Mission: To help women defy fear, self-doubt, insecurity, shame/blame, and guilt by prioritizing self-love, mental health, healing.

By sharing my story + truth, I believe that I can give every woman the permission to do the same.
