We were excited to attend the Carnegie Mellon University Benefits & Fitness Fair today! 🎉

A lot of people stopped by our table to learn more about our therapy services, wellness programs, and upcoming sound healing classes. Our psychotherapists Fengdi Pei, Stephanie Stitt, and Brittany Chalmers answered questions, shared resources, and connect with the CMU community about mental health and holistic well-being.

This weekend, AWC hosted an incredible Sound Practitioner Level I training led by the inspiring Monique Mead. 🌟
Participants immersed themselves in the art and science of sound healing, exploring its theory, techniques, and therapeutic benefits for mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

Through hands-on practice, participants learned to harness the power of sound to promote relaxation, balance, and healing—an experience that was both grounding and transformative.

When life feels overwhelming, small intentional moments of self-care can make a big difference. A self-care jar is a simple yet powerful tool to remind you to pause, breathe, and nurture yourself.

How to Make One:
1️⃣ Find a jar, box, or container you love.
2️⃣ Write down self-care ideas on slips of paper.
3️⃣ Fill the jar with those ideas.
4️⃣ Whenever you need a reset, pull one slip and follow through.

Ideas to Get You Started:
💧 Drink a tall glass of water
🌳 Take a 10-minute walk outside
📖 Read a chapter of a book
🕯 Light a candle and practice deep breathing
🎶 Listen to your favorite song
🤝 Call or text a friend
