Physical therapy patients come to our clinic for many reasons.

Some have had an injury and need help regaining their strength and form.

Others have had surgery and PT is part of their recovery process.
For some, the problem is brand-new, and they need pain relief now.

And then there are those who have endured long term pain and are tired of living with it.

Whatever the reason patients decide to our facility, our doctors work tirelessly to ensure that they achieve pain relief and return to “normal”. Our team also helps them set personal health goals to maintain that renewed function and enjoy that feeling of wellness indefinitely.

With that result in mind, we offer an annual physical therapy ‘check-up’.

During this appointment, we use a functional movement screening to determine a patient’s current status. The physical therapist can note areas of concern and address potential biomechanical problems.

This program is ideal for:

- Athletes, at all levels, before or after a sport season(s)

- Healthy adults who may have failed to address minor aches and pains which have developed into something more problematic

- Older adults, where tracking balance and movement is a necessity

We will be able to address any functional changes we detect and provide you with the necessary education so you will continue at your peak level of performance.

We can demonstrate exercises and stretches which can be done at home.

Plus, once we have a ‘benchmark’ assessment, problems can be identified and assessed more quickly moving forward, if needed.

Make sure to schedule your appointment as soon as possible to address the problem before it limits you!

Physical Therapy FAQs

Do I have to attend therapy at a specific clinic?

- No, when concerning physical therapy, you have the right to choose not only where you want to but who you want to see.

How do I know what services are covered?

- Typically, it is the patient’s responsibility to check with their insurance company to see what their deductible and co-payment may be.

How long does a typical session last?

- The first visit you have with us will involve a comprehensive evaluation which lasts up to an hour, but a typical treatment lasts about 30 minutes to an hour depending on the patient’s program.

What should I wear to therapy?

- You should wear comfortable clothes in which the clinician can easy access the area of concern. You may be asked to complete functional testing along with exercise, so you should make sure to dress accordingly.

Nerves!!!
Nerves need oxygen a blood flow to work normally.
We tend to focus on building muscle and increasing strength so much that we lose focus on highly sensitive structures such a nerves.
Nerves are highly vascular structures that convey information throughout the body.
If movements feel restricted or movements are limited because of pain, you can have a physical therapist evaluate your concerns and help develop a plan to meet your goal(s)

😴Sleeping Positions😂
Meet Jax. Jax loves sleeping throughout the day while I'm at work or working around the house.
He finds the most awkward and funny positions to sleep in, but that's a dog's life.
Sleeping habits are often brought up in physical therapy treatment, and it's an important subject to talk about.
If you are having back or neck pain, let us know, maybe we can help!
Please feel free to send any questions you may have about sleep or pain affecting your overall health... or if you want to give a shout out to Jax 😂

Make sure you keep moving!
It's easy to binge watch shows or sleep in during these times. Without structure from the work place or social functions, a lot of us are not getting as much exercise or activity.
DIY projects and work around the house is a great way to keep moving, as long as you are keeping yourself safe!
If you are having difficulty with staying active because you don't know what to do or if you are experiencing pain from your DIY projects, feel free to reach out to our office for a consultation.
Have a great weekend! Stay active!
