Our own Matt Botti, clinical transformation director, Highmark Wholecare, recently braved the icy waters of the Pittsburgh Polar Plunge to support Special Olympics Pennsylvania! While the air was in the 50s, the water was still plenty cold, but Matt says it was all worth it. The joy, camaraderie and support of Special Olympics made for an unforgettable experience. Thanks for plunging and representing us, Matt!

We were thrilled to host talented students from The Pittsburgh Promise Executive Scholars program at our office for a special career event! Students engaged in insightful discussions with Highmark and Highmark Wholecare leaders, exploring diverse career paths and learning about our commitment to the community. From an overview of early career opportunities to in-depth conversations with executives, it was an enriching day focused on professional growth and development. We're proud to invest in the future of these bright young minds and look forward to seeing the impact they'll make!

Across Pennsylvania, we are working with community pharmacies to address the health needs of new and expecting mothers through the MOMENTUM program. Part of a collaboration with PPCN, MOMENTUM works with pharmacists to address health care gaps for mothers, especially in rural areas. Our Farm-to-Family program will return in 2026! This year, the program will expand by 40% and provide more than 225,000 pounds of fresh, locally grown produce to 10,000 families through 35 community events. We will announce dates and details in the coming months. Stay tuned!
