Hello all, and Happy November! IYIP is partnering with the and other local distributions to help our neighbors through these tough times. IYIP is a drop-off site for food, tote bags (they’re needed as many recipients are first timers and unaware they need to bring bags), and cash and check donations. You can also donate directly to the food bank, link in bio. More of our community members are using these services than ever before, let’s support them until we, as a collective, can experience more prosperous times 🖤

Autumn got you feeling down? Perhaps you’re on your 3rd existential crisis of the week and it’s only Tuesday? Join Christina tomorrow, Wednesday, 10/1 (and every Wednesday until the end of the year) for Yoga for Autumn! Learn asanas, lifestyle changes, and ways to modify your diet for an easier transition into fall and to combat excess vata. An overview will be presented tomorrow, with seasonal specific theme every week thereafter. Open to all levels. 🎃🍂🍎🧡🖤

Hi all, it’s officially fall! Our autumn quarter begins this Tuesday, 9/30! We have a couple new courses to offer you:

The return of Level 1 Tuesday nights at 6pm. Rotating teachers.

Yoga for Fall Wednesday mornings at 10:30 with Christina

One from the archives, found while cleaning the office. 2006ish, Sara had been putting the teachers through a very long, very tedious photo shoot (she had been a photo journalist pre-yoga instructor, and a perfectionist up until the very end haha). This shot was unplanned and an “outtake.” Their expressions say it all 😂🫠

Sadly, despite being on the case all weekend, Rosalie the Yoga Cat has been unsuccessful in getting to the root of our website issue, and has retreated to her chamber for a much needed rest. She has passed the responsibility to the IYIP board who is working to get answers. Meanwhile, just a reminder that you can still register for classes and access the schedule through Namastream/Hey Marvelous. Thank you for your patience, and we hope to have our site up and running again asap!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, 7/9 is the first Prep a Pose class of the summer! Join Christina at 10:30 for a sequence that shines light on a seemingly simple, yet often frustrating asana, , or tree pose. Minimum 6 months yoga experience required, no raw beginners ☀️🖤 🌳

Hi all! There’s not much time left to donate to our semi-annual donation drive! A reminder IYIP is a nonprofit, and your tax deductible donation allows us to contribute to operate, train new teachers, bring in guest teachers, and make yoga available to all, regardless of ability to pay. Hi all! Just a reminder that we have decided to go with no class tomorrow. We will have a makeup class for the advanced students (Levels 2&3) on Thursday night, June 26th. There will a makeup for the morning students on Monday June 30th at 10am. In addition, the studio WILL be available for open practice tomorrow, Monday 5/26, Memorial Day, from 11-1. Feel free to stop by and use the room, props, rope wall etc, for free! Thanks all
