Stand on your business and don’t worry about what anyone else is doing. And if people are all in your business? That’s their problem — not yours.

When school goes remote for a week because of snow, and suddenly you’re back in your old role as Director of Logging Kids In, Password Recovery Specialist, IT Department, Lunch Chef (serving 3–5 surprise meals a day), and Occasional Math Tutor… you can’t help but laugh a little.

Because parents who survived Covid homeschooling were sitting there like, “Oh, just one week? Cute.” 😆

Remember the months of juggling work, Wi-Fi crashes, 42 browser tabs, muted microphones that were never actually muted, and trying to figure out “new math” while questioning your entire education?

This week was basically the reunion tour, but the short, low-commitment version. And honestly, the kids slid right back into it like little pros because they’ve done this before.

If anything, it’s proof that parents are way more resilient than we give ourselves credit for… but let’s all agree that our at-home teaching days deserve to stay in the past. Snow week = manageable. Covid months = legendary status. 😂
