Vaccine news

Vaccines save lives. Millions of Pennsylvanians rightly expect that they will be able to receive immunizations through their local pharmacists and pharmacies. That is unfortunately under threat due to dangerous federal policies. Yesterday, the State House passed on a bipartisan basis my legislation with Rep. Tarik Khan, Rep. Bridget M Kosierowski, and Rep. Jennifer O'Mara to ensure that all Pennsylvanians can continue to receive vaccine through their pharmacies. The legislation now goes to the State Senate for consideration.

Today is World Immunization Day. Immunizations have saved over 150 million lives since 1974. As a physician-legislator, I am proud to be the lead sponsor of legislation, HB 1828 and 1881, to protect access to and affordability of immunizations in Pennsylvania. Please discuss with your physician whether you should receive recommended vaccines.
