Today is World Immunization Day. Immunizations have saved over 150 million lives since 1974. As a physician-legislator, I am proud to be the lead sponsor of legislation, HB 1828 and 1881, to protect access to and affordability of immunizations in Pennsylvania. Please discuss with your physician whether you should receive recommended vaccines.

We are HIRING for seasonal flu shot clinics in and around the Greater Pittsburgh area and surrounding counties! Clinicians must be licensed to give immunizations and have the following:

*Current CPR certification
*Copy of clinical license (Paramedic, MA, RN, LPN, etc)
*Proof of negative TB test or negative chest x-ray in the past year (or willing to get the testing done independently)
*Criminal Background Clearance [for employment]
*Child Abuse Background Clearance [for employment]
*FBI Fingerprint Clearance [for employment]
*Driver's License
*Reliable transportation
*Professional Liability Insurance (can be obtained through nso.com)
*Car Insurance
*Smartphone or tablet for using ADP for timekeeping and onboarding
