Allegheny General Hospital's LifeFlight provides regional emergency helicopter and critical care ground transportation services for critically ill and injured patients who need immediate specialized care. LifeFlight is available 24 hours day, seven days a week. LifeFlight has completed more than 60,000 missions-working side-by-side with EMS providers and community hospitals in a four-state area. LifeFlight helicopters serve western Pennsylvania, southeastern Ohio, northern West Virginia and western Maryland. operates the 6 helicopters in the LifeFlight program.

As a small gesture of appreciation, several Allegheny Health Network facilities are providing complimentary meals or meal vouchers for EMS crews on Thanksgiving Day. Please refer to the attached flyer for specifics on participating locations, times, and how to redeem your meal or voucher.

We also celebrate Alaina Martini and Cassandra Asberry for their dynamic co-presentation on Tuesday, "Turbulence Expected: Navigating the Bumpy Ride of EMS Publication." Their work is vital in shaping the future of EMS research and best practices!
