Yes! How many times have you found moods and attitudes reset after a dose of outdoor play?

When the kids are bouncing off the walls, when tongues get sharp and siblings get testy, do yourself (and them) a favor, and head outside! You might just be surprised at how quickly they reset.

By Fall, Age 7 Feels Like Magic Fading Slowly

They still believe… in Santa, in luck, in the idea that you can fix everything.
They’re old enough to read bedtime stories,
but they still ask you to do the voices.

By fall, seven feels golden.
They tell jokes that actually make sense now.
They make friends that feel like forever.
And they still call for you when they’re scared,
because in their mind, you’re still the safest place in the world.

You start realizing how precious this in-between really is…
the last stretch of true innocence before the world starts whispering louder than you do.

🎥 A Mother’s Kiss — Through the Eyes of Science

Imagine this:
A mother gently kisses her child.
To the eye — a simple act of love.
But beneath the surface… a miracle unfolds.

Scientists captured this moment using functional MRI.
A scientific photograph of love.
Visual proof of what instinct always knew — now confirmed by neuroscience.

💞 When a mother kisses her baby, she doesn’t just touch skin… she touches the brain.
That tender kiss sets off a storm of invisible signals that change both mother and child — profoundly.

🤱 In the mother:

The brain’s pleasure and reward centers light up (nucleus accumbens, dopamine system).

The amygdala and hypothalamus activate — triggering protective, primal emotion.

Oxytocin floods the system — the “love hormone” that reduces stress, deepens bonding, and creates lasting attachment.

👶 In the child:

Heart rate slows. Muscles relax.

Stress hormones decrease.

The body receives a powerful message: “I’m safe. I’m loved.”

And right there… the brain begins to record love — shaping trust, intimacy, and the future ability to love.

🧠 On the scan, you can literally see both brains glowing.
A synchronized dance between two nervous systems.
A silent language. A coded signal of love.

💬 In that moment…

The mother’s brain acts as if protecting the most precious thing on Earth.
The child’s brain quietly responds: “I’m safe. I’m home.”

No words. No effort. Just presence.
Just one kiss. One real connection.

This is the neurobiology of love.
Care that leaves a mark deep within us.
And yes — love can be seen.
It glows. ❤️
