PSRT is doing something different this year for the Meet & Greet event! The Meet & Greet will take place in the Poster Competition display room so that attendees have a better opportunity to check out the hard work of our students while sampling amazing hors d'oeuvres, networking with students and technologists from across the state of Pennsylvania, and enjoying the amazing music provided by DJ Jumpin' John. Fun fact: John is a Biology professor!

Spotlighting another amazing speaker for the PSRT Conference on March 27 and 28, 2026. Patrique Brown EdD, MPH, RDMS, RVT, ACHE brings to us an insightful presentation that is sure to enhance any radiography department! FriYAY is a grassroots recognition program that is designed to improve workplace cultures by fostering a sense of belonging and being valued. But, we will let Patrique tell you all about it at the conference.
Patrique brings with her a lot of experience and a variety of skillsets. She is fluent in English, French, and Creole, and conversational in Spanish. In addition, holds credentials in ARDMS, SDMS and is an ARDMS Breast registry item writer.

The PSRT would like to announce the newest Pennsylvania member of the ASRT SLDP Program! For the 2nd year, we have 3 students entering this transformative program to develop leadership skills, learn about advocacy and governance, and build a career based on involvement in the profession at the state and national levels. These three amazing students will travel to Albuquerque, NM in June to work with leaders at ASRT, and will have the opportunity to learn more at the state level as well! We couldn't be more proud of all students at Pennsylvania radiography programs who applied to this amazing opportunity.

The PSRT Student Scholarship Information is available on the Student Resources Page!!!! On that page you will find the Scholarship Application Instructions, a printable document that lists the requirements for the Scholarship Application, so you can prepare prior to starting the application. The application process begins on January 26, 2026 and closes on March 1, 2026.

Educators, please share this information with your students. Applicants must be members of the PSRT at the time of application. Student memberships are just $15.

The PSRT guarantees at least one - $1000 scholarship. Last year, we raised enough money to offer two scholarships!! Not a student, consider donating money to the Scholarship Fund so we can try to surpass last year and award MORE THAN two scholarships!! The link to donate is on our main webpage.

The PSRT 2026 Annual Spring Conference and Business meeting is just a little more than 2 months away!! We are seeking speakers for the event, which will take place Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28, 2026 in Allentown, PA. If you are interested in speaking, you are invited to complete a Speaker Registration form. PSRT offers speakers one-night stay in the hotel, free attendance to the conference and a $100 honorarium. You do not need to be a radiologic technologist to speak at our event. Topics can range from any imaging modality, leadership/management in healthcare, healthcare education, practice standards, and general patient care - and so much more! We welcome students, researchers, doctoral candidates, radiologists, biomedical engineers, educators, physicists, healthcare managers, nurses, PA's, RA's....everyone is welcome!
