Serving over 1,200 infants, toddlers and children across Allegheny and Washington Counties annually, we provide a powerful range of child development services that go above and beyond to help children realize their fullest potential. teli's continuum of care includes: early intervention services provided in the home at no cost to families for infants and toddlers aged birth to three; and teletherapy sessions for all early intervention services.

Did you know there are three types of ADHD?

1️⃣ Kids with inattentive ADHD (formerly referred to as ADD) display symptoms of inattention, but do not possess symptoms of hyperactivity or impulsivity.

2️⃣ Kids with Hyperactive/Impulsive ADHD display symptoms of impulsivity or hyperactivity, but do not display symptoms of inattention.

3️⃣ Kids with Combined ADHD display symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.

During ADHD Awareness Month, we want to offer you 5 strategies to help your child manage their ADHD.

✔️ Give praise and rewards when rules are followed.
✔️ Give clear, effective directions or commands.
✔️ Establish healthy habits.
✔️ Develop routines, particularly around homework and chores.
✔️ Help your child build relationships, strong social skills, and maintain friendships.

These are just a few easy ways to help your child thrive and navigate the world around them.

While some kids head back to school this week, your littlest ones may still be at home. If you're looking for ways to keep play time interesting, we recommend having a special “mommy/daddy and me” box.

Put a few interactive toys such as crayons, Play-Doh, or stickers in a box and out of reach. Once or twice a week bring the box out for special, one-on-one, uninterrupted play time with your child. Not only will this keep activities fresh and exciting, but you have dedicated time to bond with your little one.
