It's been a while since I've made a spicy post, so I will make it up with this one...

I am absolutely DISGUSTED with the price of commercial health insurance plans and the ridiculous deductibles that they protect themselves with from actually having to pay for your healthcare needs. Imagine paying hundreds and even thousands of dollars for "insurance" every month, never having to use it, and when the time comes to actually utilize the service, you are forced to pay a higher price than a person that pays cash, because the price that the insurance plan sets through your deductible period is basically them front running you to get EVEN MORE money out of your pockets before the insurance actually has to cough up some money.

If that wasn't bad enough, the insurance plans own all of the facilities, hospitals, MD practices, and physical therapy practices. They literally take money out of their left pocket (INSURANCE) and then just move it into pocket B (HEALTH PLAN). What a racket.

What other expense goes up 15-19% a year while your service go down? I AM DONE WITH ALL OF THIS.

I am taking the plunge into crowd funded insurance groups. I have decided to join CrowdHealth I am not advertising for them, but at $55/ month, and a 99% negotiated payment rate, it's looking a whole lot better than what I'm dealing with now. I'm telling my employees that I am going to be the guinea pig, and give this a test drive. My employees stand to save tens of thousands of dollars using this service, if it performs as advertised, and I can not find anything that leads me to believe that it doesn't.

I encourage all business owners to take the plunge with me, and sign your families up for a year and see how it goes. Be the guinea pigs, and see if you are satisfied with the service, and is so, let's all unplug from commercial health insurance.

Our businesses and employees need and deserve something better, and the age of vertically integrated healthcare monopolies has got to end. This is a good first start. Do your own research, and come to your own conclusions. I'm taking the first step towards freedom from the health insurance monopolies.
