We are hosting an On-Site Vaccine Clinic on Friday, Feb. 6, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at our Animal Wellness Center (Building 2).

Please note there will be an administration fee of $15 per pet in addition to the cost of the vaccines.

Bordetella – $20

No sign-up necessary. A copy of an up-to-date rabies vaccination must be provided; otherwise, the Rabies vaccine will need to be administered. Please note that a Rabies tag does not count as proof of vaccination.

It’s time to clean out those closets and make a difference!

From February 16 – April 16, 2026, Pittsburgh Public Schools is hosting a districtwide Shoe Drive to support our school communities and partners Homewood Children's Village and Community Schools.

👞 What to Donate

New or gently used shoes of any type and any size, including:
• Sneakers and casual shoes
• Dress shoes, sandals, and boots
• Sports and athletic shoes (cleats, trainers, etc.)
• Children’s, youth, and adult sizes

All shoes should be paired, clean, reusable, and laces tied together when applicable.

We continue to face a severe blood shortage, made worse by recent extreme winter weather. About 800 blood drives have been canceled since the beginning of the year, leading to more than 20,000 uncollected blood and platelet donations.

We are in urgent need of donors to help patients who are counting on lifesaving blood following accidents, during surgeries, and for treatment of conditions such as sickle cell disease and cancer.
