Our scope included the fabrication and installation of the monumental stair, custom railings, site bollards, and exterior ramp systems, each designed to support both safety and long-term durability.

From interior details to exterior infrastructure, this project reflects our ability to deliver high-quality metalwork across every phase of a build.

DL Metal Design is proud to have contributed to the Chapel Block Apartments project located in the Navy Yard section of Philadelphia.

Our team fabricated and installed the steel and glass monumental staircase and custom aluminum canopies, along with additional miscellaneous metal elements throughout the development.

Together, these features reflect our ability to deliver detailed, high-quality metalwork that not only supports performance and durability, but also enhances the overall design of the space.

DL Metal Design is proud to have completed this monumental stair at Reading High School, delivering a central feature that brings together durability, functionality, and architectural design.

Our scope included the fabrication and installation of custom metal railings and perforated panel guard systems, designed to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding finishes and open layout. The stair serves as a key circulation point within the building while also acting as a visual anchor for the space.

This past Thursday, our President, David Lopez, had the honor of speaking at the DBIA Tristate Panel Discussion held at the iconic William H. Gray 30th Street Station in Philadelphia.

David shared insights on the advantages of the Design-Build process and how it unites design and construction into one seamless, collaborative delivery method.

Our DL Metal Design company-wide meeting was one for the books!

From energizing team-building challenges to insightful leadership updates, it was a day filled with laughter, connection, collaboration, and celebrating how far we’ve come as a company.

DL Metal Design is proud to have played a key role in the renovations at Gockley Elementary School in the Whitehall-Coplay School District. Our scope included the fabrication and installation of stainless steel, aluminum, painted steel, and galvanized steel railings along with custom-fabricated stair assemblies. In addition to the visible architectural elements, we also provided integral hidden support structures that are essential to the building’s function. It was a rewarding opportunity to contribute lasting, structural craftsmanship to a space built for learning and growth.

We’re proud to have been a dedicated trade partner in the renovations of College Hall’s West Wing at the University of Pennsylvania. This unique project included the fabrication of historical antiqued bronze rails, a curved bronze spiral stair railing, custom spiral staircase castings, detailed railing castings, and multiple blackened steel rails. It was an exciting opportunity to showcase our craftsmanship and expertise in recreating historically inspired elements true to the building’s original late 1800's aesthetic.
