**Our story**
My name is JJ. I’m the vocalist for Terminal Intensity. Over the last several years it’s been difficult to escape the tumultuous changes in the political climate that has swept across this country. Especially if you or someone you love is a member of the LGBTQ+ community. The ACLU has been tracking over well over 500 anti-lgbtq+ bills. Once I found this out I really had felt motivated to do something. To contribute somehow. More than one social media influencer and a politician or two suggested to their followers to focus on your community. The people you care about and to look to supporting local non profits that support your community or the things you believe in.
So I went with what I know. Ive been involved in the local punk, rock and metal music scene in one form or another for the better part of 25 years. So the idea struck me to hold an event for Pride month in June. I immediately went to my wife, L. Nicole Ulizio with the idea whom wholeheartedly supported it. I then contacted sone friends for help: Mike Fisher (Strike True Promotions & Disease of the Mind), Val Harshbarger, and Aaron Pepe (Chaotic Order Entertainment & Desolence).
It was then that the event began to take shape. It will be an all day affair. Bands all day, with drag performances and vendors, raffles and possibly more.
It will be held at The Funhouse at Mr. Smalls on 06/21/2025.
The the proceeds for the event will go to a local LGBTQ+ nonprofit, I’ll post who once we confirm with them.
