Did you know? 🦷
Your child’s first adult molars usually appear around age 6!
They erupt behind the baby teeth in the very back of the mouth — some kids (and parents) don’t even realize they’re coming in!

These “6-year molars” will be with them for life, but the deep grooves can make them more prone to cavities.

✨ Here’s how to protect them:
• Brush really well, even while they are still coming in (bacteria can hide under the gum tissue!) 🪥
• Ask us about sealants to help protect the chewing surface! 😀

Does your child have braces? 🦷

Orthodontics are becoming more common for younger kids, and early intervention can make a big difference down the road! 🤗

While in braces, brushing and flossing can become a little tricky but it’s extra important to keep your teeth and gums clean!

🪥 Use a floss threader or water flosser to reach between brackets and wires

🦠 Keeping your teeth clean on all surfaces help prevent cavities or white spots after braces come off!

Small habits now =healthy smiles later! ✨

Let’s talk dental sealants!🦷

A quick, easy, painless way to help protect those grooves in your back teeth from early decay! 👏🏼

Sealants are a thin, protective coating applied to the chewing surfaces of molars to create a shield in the tiny grooves, where food and bacteria like to hide. 🦠

Feel free to ask us about more information on sealants at your next visit!😄
