On Christmas Day, our residents gathered together to open their presents, share laughter, and enjoy a beautiful day filled with warmth and connection. Moments like these remind us how special our community truly is.

We are especially grateful for the dedicated staff who spent their holiday with us, ensuring every resident felt celebrated and cared for. Many even dressed in festive holiday attire, bringing extra cheer and smiles throughout the home.

Thank you to our incredible team for making the day magical

Celebrating Excellence at RP Home
Recognizing our staff for going Above and Beyond isn’t just important to us — it’s part of who we are. Every day, our team shows up with heart, compassion, and dedication, and we love highlighting the moments that truly make a difference.

Recently, Tammy, one of our incredible Certified Nursing Assistants, was recognized by a family member for the exceptional care she provides to their mother. They shared:

“Tammy has been amazing with my mom. She has been kind and loving. I really appreciate how she took care of my mom like she was family. I love Tammy!”

Stories like this remind us why our work matters. Thank you, Tammy, for embodying the spirit of RP Home and treating every resident with the dignity, warmth, and love they deserve. You make us proud every day.

This activity wasn’t just about cutting and pasting — it was about dreaming boldly, sharing stories, and supporting one another as we look ahead to a new year filled with possibility.

Here’s to a 2026 filled with purpose, connection, and growth.

Frank and Olive Walker were cherished friends of the residents at the Reformed Presbyterian Home. For many years before their passing, they generously contributed to establish the Walker Fund (Resident Activity Fund), which continues to enrich life at RP Home.
I,
n their honor, the Walker Celebration of Lights has become a beloved tradition, held on the first Thursday of December. This year’s celebration took place on December 5th, and we extend heartfelt thanks to the residents and staff who filled our home with holiday spirit through beautiful decorations.

RP Home

Vision Statement:

The Reformed Presbyterian Home and its family of services will be a model for excellence in the care of older adults as guided by our commitment to provide an environment that maximizes the physical, spiritual, social, and emotional well-being of each member of our community.

Philosophy of Care:

We believe that God has given value to each person’s life that does not diminish with age or changes in mental and physical condition. Each of our residents has varying levels of health, activity, intellect, creativity, sociability, and independence. Our goal is to provide an environment that will help each person we serve achieve his/her maximum level of physical, spiritual, mental, and social well-being. By having levels of care, the RP Home strives to meet the needs of residents in a supportive, rather than restrictive environment. We attempt all of this in the spirit of Christian love and the Golden Rule as taught by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
