Support the Reformed Presbyterian Home

For over 128 years, RP Home has been a place of warm, Christ-centered care for thousands—from Pittsburgh’s North Side to across the country. It’s been a haven for missionaries, pastors, and others seeking comfort and community in their later years.

As we close out 2025, we ask for your prayers and support. Your gift helps us care for residents, support staff, and maintain our historic building.

Please consider donating to help us continue this ministry of love and compassion. We’re grateful for each of you who shares our heart for RP Home.

Help us deck the halls—and doors! We’re inviting families, volunteers, and staff to join us in spreading holiday cheer by decorating resident doors for the Christmas season.

Bring your creativity, festive spirit, and a little sparkle as we transform our hallways into a winter wonderland. Whether it’s garlands, wreaths, or handmade touches, every decoration brings joy to our community.

We invite you to participate with the goal to show our spirit on every door by December 3rd!

RP Home

Vision Statement:

The Reformed Presbyterian Home and its family of services will be a model for excellence in the care of older adults as guided by our commitment to provide an environment that maximizes the physical, spiritual, social, and emotional well-being of each member of our community.

Philosophy of Care:

We believe that God has given value to each person’s life that does not diminish with age or changes in mental and physical condition. Each of our residents has varying levels of health, activity, intellect, creativity, sociability, and independence. Our goal is to provide an environment that will help each person we serve achieve his/her maximum level of physical, spiritual, mental, and social well-being. By having levels of care, the RP Home strives to meet the needs of residents in a supportive, rather than restrictive environment. We attempt all of this in the spirit of Christian love and the Golden Rule as taught by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
