We are so grateful to receive support from the AmeriHealth Caritas Foundation, whose grant will help us continue reducing ACEs, expanding family stability, and ensuring that mothers in recovery and their children have the resources they need to thrive.

Happy Halloween! Keep your trick-or-treating fun for the whole family with a few easy safety reminders:

🎃 Wear reflective and well-fitting costumes – Avoid flammable materials, contact lenses, and masks that obstruct your vision. Bring glow sticks or flashlights for extra visibility.

🦇 Stay together – Always go with kids under the age of 12 and encourage older kids to go in a group.

👻 Walk safely – Always cross at the crosswalk, walk on the sidewalk, and stay on well-lit streets

🔮 Check treats – Examine wrapping for factory seals and throw out any spoiled or unwrapped treats. For kids with allergies, check ingredients and make sure their epi-pen is nearby!

As the suspension of SNAP benefits leaves many families struggling to put food on the table, Sojourner House is taking action.

We’re repurposing a space at one of our properties to provide emergency food and household support for our clients — and we need your help.

We’re seeking volunteers to assist with light renovation, organization, and setup. Together, we can create a safe, welcoming space that ensures families don’t go without.
