Before the holiday hustle begins, give your mind and body a calm moment to reset.

Acupuncture is a powerful tool for reducing stress, releasing tight muscles, and supporting emotional balance—especially this time of year.
Your nervous system will thank you. 🧘‍♀️🌙

Ever wake up between 3–5 AM? 🌙

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this is the time when your Lungs are most active — a time of renewal, grief processing, and emotional clearing.
If you find yourself awake then, try gentle breathing or gratitude meditation to calm the mind and restore balance.

🥕 Nourish Your Lungs with These Healing Foods
Support your Lung & Large Intestine system from the inside out!

Add these foods to your meals this fall for balance and vitality:
✨ Garlic, ginger, pears, peaches, carrots, and oats.
Avoid excess alcohol, fried foods, and sugar, which can create “dampness” and slow the system down.

Healthy lungs = better immunity, energy, and clarity. 🌿

🍂 The Emotion of the Lungs — Grief & Sadness

Did you know that the Lung & Large Intestine meridian is associated with the emotion of grief?
When this system is out of balance, we may feel sadness, melancholy, or have trouble letting go. Practices like mindful breathing, journaling, and acupuncture can help move stuck energy — allowing both the body and heart to heal. 💛

Breathe In Renewal, Let Go of the Old

In Eastern medicine, the Lungs do more than just help us breathe — they help us release what no longer serves us. 🕊️
Each inhale brings in fresh Qi (energy), and each exhale lets go of old ideas, emotions, and toxins.

This season, take a deep breath and remind yourself:
👉 “I release what I no longer need.”

Did you know there’s a powerful acupressure point located right at your hairline?

👉 Location: ST-8 (Stomach 8), also called Touwei (“Head’s Binding”), is found at the corner of the forehead—just slightly above the hairline where the forehead meets the temple.

✨ Functions:
Helps relieve headaches, especially those at the temples or forehead.
Supports eye health and may ease eye strain or pain.
Calms dizziness or vertigo.
Promotes clearer thinking by reducing heavy, foggy sensations in the head.

🌸 Gentle pressure or massage on this point can bring relief and balance—perfect for those who spend long hours on screens or experience tension headaches.

💆‍♀️ Try massaging both points (left and right) for a few minutes while taking slow, deep breaths.
