Happily introducing Shirley Kidney!

Ms. Kidney is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over two decades of experience working with individuals across the lifespan in child development, schools, community mental health, and private practice. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University. As a participant in the Alpha cohort, she completed a two-year certificate training program in Gestalt Therapy with the Gestalt Institute of Pittsburgh.



Ms. Kidney brings a nurturing and strengths-based approach to therapy, emphasizing the importance of the therapeutic relationship alongside the interventions utilized. She works with individuals aged 14 and older, as well as couples, supporting clients with ADHD, anxiety, and depression, and helping them navigate times of transition
