We are continuously proud of our team and all of the hard things they are doing!

On this gloomy Monday we want to celebrate the achievements of a few of our staff: Allison Fox and Kensey LeGrand both passed their NCE (National Counselor Exam) and each received their LAPC (Licensed Associate Professional Counselor). They both are now in network with Highmark BCBS and can expand their caseloads to help more clients in need. (UPMC pending) Such milestones in their professional careers 🎉

In addition, our current clinical interns Matt and Emma will be staying with us throughout their summer semester, and so we are still able to offer low or no cost services to those in need. They have really hit the ground running this semester, and we are excited to see their growth into the fall.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce a special transition for a familiar face. Allison Oczko is stepping into an expanded role as our Screening and Intake Coordinator while continuing her work as a Clinical Therapist!

Allison has been a cornerstone of the Congruent Relationships team since the very beginning. As she builds her clinical caseload, she is also taking on this vital administrative leadership role to ensure every client who reaches out to us finds the perfect fit for their healing journey.

Individuals & Couples: Utilizing the evidence-based Gottman Method to help partners navigate conflict and build deeper intimacy.

Financial Therapy: Allison is currently pursuing her Certified Financial Therapist (CFT™) designation—bridging the gap between emotional wellness and financial health.

Whether she is helping you navigate your first intake call or working with you in the therapy room, Allison’s dedication to our mission is unmatched. We are so lucky to have her growing alongside us!

The wellbeing of our staff and clients is our top priority. We want to assure you that we are committed to keeping you safe and comfortable as the weather shifts into colder temps. In case of inclement weather, we are prepared to offer the following options to ensure you receive the support you need:

Virtual appointments: If venturing out in the cold or snow feels less than appealing, we are happy to switch your scheduled in-person session to a virtual one. Simply notify us as soon as possible, and we'll send a Zoom or Google Meet link.

Cancellations with no fees: Should you feel it's unsafe to travel due to weather conditions, please don't hesitate to cancel your appointment. We understand the importance of prioritizing your safety, and we will waive any cancellation fees related to weather concerns as long as you let us know beforehand.

Please choose whichever option feels most comfortable and safe for you. We will also reach out ASAP if we are unable to come into the office due to weather.

We want to thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we navigate the winter months together. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here for you, rain or shine (or snow!).

🌿 Meet Emma - Emma’s journey to counseling is a unique one! With a background in English and career advising, she discovered her passion for advocacy through listening to people’s unique stories. 📖 Emma utilizes a holistic approach incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). As a queer-identifying, neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming clinician, she is dedicated to creating a safe space to deconstruct systems of oppression and celebrate your authentic self. 🌈✨

🌿 Meet Matt - Matt joins us with a deep commitment to helping clients navigate the "unknowns" of life. He is passionate about meeting people exactly where they are, providing a supportive environment for growth and healing. Whether you're navigating personal transitions or looking for deeper relational connection, Matt’s empathetic approach helps clients feel seen and heard as they work toward their goals. 🤝🌱
