Reflecting on some of my favorite moments over this year, and all the years of birthwork. It is truly such a gift to have a calling that means so much to the families we work with. To be invited back for sibling births, growing with families, witnessing strength- i will never take it for granted.

Building your birth team should be an exciting experience. If you aren’t surrounding yourself with people who make you feel good, calm, and capable- you won’t find that peace during your labor. Surround yourself with people who are going to truly see you and your needs without judgement. You never forget how you were treated and held during your labor. We can’t wait to care for you.

Birth photography captures your partnership story too. With the focus you’ll have on the hard work you’re doing, you’ll miss these beautiful moments. We are so grateful to capture them with our lens. You can add birth photography to any birth doula package (provided by your own doula, not an extra person in your space to worry about)

Influencers struggling with low supply and giving you a laundry list of things to purchase with affiliate links, is not going to solve your lactation concerns. IBCLC support is problem solving- investigative- whole-personed- evidence based- integrative care. You could miss a complex and compounded cause of lactation supply issues. You can’t Black Friday purchase your way through your supply issues- don’t let capitalism tell you that you’d need to.

In 2025, we had over 15 small businesses connect and support our Family Fest and over 50 support our programming this year between our Kids Clothing Swap, Infertility MiniSeries, Mom's Speed Meet, and Maternal Mental Health Month.

The language of labor! Your doula will use the information at hand to suggest positions, explain the next steps, or give you some options to discuss with your team. Sometimes we switch support techniques or pause for a break when rest can be crucial- especially after a cervical exam which doesn’t match with the intensity of contractions. Note- These are just a few of the things your provider can find, they may also look for baby’s position, check for a cord/meconium staining, cervical lips or scar tissue and more!
