Tonight's view is one from the West End Bridge yesterday morning, and you can see why I said that I wasn't expecting a colorful sunrise...it was completely clear when I got into the city.

My initial plan was to capture the city from the bridge right when I got into town. However the lot that I normally park in hadn't been touched yet, and I really wasn't in the mood to get stuck at 5:00 in the morning. So I found some street parking and walked to the bridge, and I'm glad that I did.

Though a tow boat or barge wasn't going down the river at the time I was there, there were a few boats docked below the bridges and the way the lights made the ice on the rivers glow was pretty awesome. Plus most of the river was frozen over except for a path from the last barge to go through, so it was an interesting view.

Now that my driveway is officially dug out from the snow, hopefully I can dig out from the images from this week as well. I also took about 600 images sled riding today...I'll share those this week too.
