We are proud to share the progress of our recent collaboration with Central Outreach Wellness Center(COWC)!

Working alongside our Inclusion Program Director, Johanna Murphy, the team at COWC has launched a comprehensive initiative to create a Neurodivergent Employee Resource Group (NERG) dedicated to neurodivergent inclusion. This plan aligns perfectly with their mission of providing affirming, equitable, and community-centered care.
From facilitating micro-trainings to identifying cultural barriers and supporting inclusive leadership, COWC is doing the deep work to build a truly accessible workplace.

Tangible change is already happening across their North Shore office and beyond:
📍 Wayfinding: Clear icons for medical supplies and digital boards with visual directions.
🧘 Sensory Support: Fidget toys in waiting areas and a dedicated "Chill Tent" at Pride.
🏢 Physical Space: Updated high-contrast signage and sanitization stations.
🤝 Community: Low-pressure social gatherings (like after-work coloring and dinner!).

Kudos to the entire COWC team for leading the way in inclusive healthcare. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
