They looked like pros and they had a striking good time!

Another sport to explore that helps build real skills - practicing math through scoring, strengthening coordination and focus, showing sportsmanship. We are proud of them and we believe kids can! ,

At Pace School, learning goes far beyond the classroom! ⛳️

Through our partnership with the First Tee program at the Bob O'Connor Golf Course, our students are building confidence, character, and important life skills—all while learning the game of golf. From encouraging teammates and practicing good sportsmanship to sharpening math skills through scoring and discovering how the equipment works, every lesson connects back to growth on and off the course.

We’re so proud of how our students step up, support one another, and take pride in learning something new. Opportunities like this help them see what’s possible—and remind us all that they truly can! 💙 , ⛳️

ALCOSAN's hands-on learning made a splash this week at Pace School 💧🎨

They helped our students explore what really goes down our drains—and how it impacts our water. From everyday seasonings and herbs we rinse in the sink to the bigger picture of water treatment, students learned that everything we send down the drain matters.

The highlight? Painting with herb-infused water! It made beautiful artwork—but also sparked an important conversation: great for a canvas, not so great for our drinking water.

Thank you, ALCOSAN, for helping our students connect science, creativity, and environmental responsibility in such a memorable way. 💙 , ,

In the McLaughlin classroom, students enjoyed a story for Black History Month about Ida Van Smith, a trailblazing pilot and flight instructor. After learning about her courage and determination, students were asked a simple but powerful question:

“Do you want to learn to fly?”

A lot of the answers received were "yes!'

Learning didn’t stop there! Some classrooms are decorating doors in honor of Black History Month — each one reflecting the importance of this part of our history.

We are so proud of our students for engaging thoughtfully, asking questions, and daring to dream big. When students see stories of strength and success, they begin to see it in themselves. # ❤️🖤💚 ,

Yesterday, we shared how our Girls Group is helping students grow in self-confidence.

Now we’re seeing that confidence ripple outward.

Our high school students are spending time with our younger students — modeling leadership, patience, and kindness through activities and in other ways.

When students believe in themselves, they naturally lift others up. Our younger students gain confidence through these role models, and our high schoolers strengthen their own leadership skills through connection and care.

This is how confidence grows — and how a supportive school community is built. 💛

In the newly formed Girls Groups, students are learning the power of self-confidence — believing in themselves, using their voices, and supporting one another along the way.

Through activities, conversations, and encouraging friendships, they are growing stronger in who they are and how they show up in the world.

When girls build self-confidence, they begin to share kindness, courage, and compassion — in their classrooms and beyond.

Confidence isn’t something you’re simply given. It’s something you grow — together. 🌸
