“Access to healthy food is a critical part of whole-person care,” said NSCHC CEO Bethany Blackburn. “This program helps patients make the choices that support their health and dignity.”

In 2024, CHCs served a record 33.9 million patients — that’s 1 in 10 Americans — while accounting for only 1% of total U.S. healthcare spending.
