Today is World Health Day!

World Health Day is celebrated annually on April 7th to mark the founding of the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1948, focusing on a specific, critical global health theme. In 2026, the campaign is "Together for health: Stand with science," emphasizing scientific collaboration to protect human, animal, and environmental health.

This month’s participant story highlights Todd and Monica and the importance of community, dignity, and feeling supported. These stories are a powerful reminder of why person-centered care matters—and why listening to the voices of those we serve is so important.

We’re grateful to Todd and Monica for sharing their journey with us.

From March 2nd through the 6th, Our Logans Ferry Center had a fun filled PULSE week full of theme days, food, games and learning!

The team celebrated with theme days like Oh the places you will go (college or vacation shirts), dress like you favorite Seuss character and even had some fun Logans Ferry Seuss shirts. They also enjoyed Seuss themed snacks and took lots of pics! The participants and staff were even treated to our special little guest reader Kingston to read One Fish Two Fish. It was a Seusstastic week!

Our participant story series continues this month with Eunice and John. Each story reminds us that no two journeys are the same—but the desire to remain independent and connected is something we all share.

Take a few minutes to hear their story and see how Community LIFE supports participants in living life on their own terms.

More than 100,000 seniors in 33 states and the District of Columbia – that’s how many older adults PACE serves today across its 200 programs. PACE isn’t just growing, it’s providing a lifeline to seniors to allow them to age with dignity, and it’s showing what integrated, person-centered care can achieve.
