Proceeds go to support these 6 local food banks - Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank , Westmoreland Food Bank, Greater Washington County Food Bank, Bedford Food Pantry, Somerset County Mobile Food Bank, and the Somerset Area Food Pantry. To reach our goal, we need everyone’s help.

💡 Tip of the Day with Attorney Carl Zacharia

Did you know that without a Power of Attorney, your family may need court approval just to help you?

Durable health care and financial Powers of Attorney allow your chosen Agent — someone you trust — to make medical or financial decisions if you’re unable to do so yourself.

Without these documents in place, even a spouse or adult child may be unable to step in when help is needed most.

The key is:
✔️ Choosing the right person (or persons) to serve as your Agent
✔️ Having a well-drafted Power of Attorney with the proper language to protect your wishes
✔️ Giving your loved ones clarity and peace of mind when it matters most

Please use generators safely. You want them at least 20 feet from your home. Never use them inside the garage.

If you suspect carbon monoxide poisoning, get into fresh air immediately and call 911.
