๐Ÿ’œ November is National Alzheimerโ€™s Disease Awareness Month ๐Ÿ’œ

In 1983, President Ronald Reagan designated November as National Alzheimerโ€™s Disease Awareness Month โ€” a time to honor those affected and raise awareness about this devastating illness.

Today, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimerโ€™s. The Alzheimerโ€™s Association continues to lead the fight through care, support, and research, working tirelessly toward a world without Alzheimerโ€™s and all other dementias.

You can help by:
๐Ÿ’œ Learning the signs and symptoms of Alzheimerโ€™s
๐Ÿค Supporting caregivers and loved ones
๐ŸŽ—๏ธ Raising awareness in your community
๐Ÿ’ฐ Donating to fund research and support services

Together, we can bring hope and help to millions of families impacted by Alzheimerโ€™s disease. ๐ŸŒฟ

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ November is Diabetic Eye Disease Awareness Month ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ

Did you know? People with diabetes are at higher risk of developing serious eye diseases โ€” including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and cataracts โ€” that can lead to vision loss or even blindness.

The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) reminds everyone with diabetes to take proactive steps to protect their sight:
โœ… Schedule a comprehensive dilated eye exam at least once a year
โœ… Manage your blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol
โœ… Know your family health history
โœ… Donโ€™t wait for symptoms โ€” early detection can save your vision

Letโ€™s spread awareness and help everyone with diabetes see a brighter future. ๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŒŸ Celebrating Nurse Practitioners โ€” Our Everyday Heroes! ๐ŸŒŸ

This week, we honor the dedication, skill, and compassion of nurse practitioners who deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across every corner of our communities. From diagnosing illnesses to managing complex care plans, prescribing treatments, and working in underserved areas โ€” their role is vital.

๐Ÿ’ผ Whether in primary care, specialty clinics, or community health settings, nurse practitioners are bridging gaps in healthcare and expanding access for all.

๐Ÿ™ To every NP: thank you for your tireless commitment, your empathy, and your constant presence when care is needed most.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Letโ€™s raise awareness about the advanced training, expertise, and impact these professionals bring every day.

๐ŸŽ‰ Better Late Than Never: Celebrating Our Incredible PAs! ๐ŸŽ‰

Weโ€™re a couple of weeks late, but we couldn't wait any longer to say THANK YOU to our amazing physician associates โ€” the skilled, compassionate, and hard-working healthcare professionals who truly make a difference.

To every PA on our team and in our community:
Thank you for going beyond in delivering care, for your flexibility when things shift, for educating, supporting, advocating, and for every moment you step in to make things better for patients and families.

โžก๏ธ The PA profession was founded by Eugene A. Stead Jr., MD, and since then, PAs have continued to evolve, adapt and expand the reach of healthcare. (Fun fact: National PA Week is celebrated each year from October 6 to October 12.)

So hereโ€™s our shout-out: We see you. We appreciate you. Weโ€™re grateful for you.

๐ŸŒธ November is Prematurity Awareness Month ๐ŸŒธ

Every year, too many babies are born too soon โ€” and the impact can last a lifetime. ๐Ÿ’œ

The March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies. During Prematurity Awareness Month (PAM), we come together to raise awareness about this serious issue โ€” the leading cause of infant death in the U.S.

๐Ÿค PAM is a time to:
๐Ÿ’ฌ Share your story
๐Ÿ™Œ Volunteer in your community
๐Ÿ’œ Advocate for better maternal and infant health
๐ŸŽ Donate to support healthy moms and strong babies

Together, we can make a difference โ€” one family, one community, one healthy beginning at a time.
