Need assistive technology but not sure where to start? The Telecommunication Device Distribution Program (TDDP) from TechOWL is here to help Pennsylvanians stay connected.

TDDP provides free specialized phones and communication devices to eligible PA residents who have disabilities that make using a standard phone difficult. Whether you need amplified sound, captioned calls, hands‑free options, or adaptive interfaces, TechOWL helps match you with the right device so you can communicate with confidence.

Welcoming February with reflection and intention. This month, we honor Black history, recognize the leadership and contributions that have shaped our communities, and recommit ourselves to advancing equity. At CLASS, our mission of Where Each Belongs calls us to create spaces of inclusion and belonging every day—and to ensure that the legacy of Black history informs the future we build together.

How can we use assistive technology to help seniors and people with disabilities live more independently at home—safely, with dignity, and at scale? What challenges must be addressed to enable it? What is the Commonwealth of PA’s “Tech First” focus, and what opportunities does that present?

Join 412 Ability Tech at our first in-person event of 2026 to tackle these questions, collaborate, and network with fellow service providers, advocates, and assistive technology professionals.

Sponsored by Arc Human Services and Inglis and hosted by Arc at their Canonsburg, PA headquarters.

Safe AT Home: Exploring Tech First Opportunities Supporting Independent Living for Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities

Highlight real-world examples of assistive and smart-home technologies in use at Arc Human Services’ and other organizations

Martin Luther King, Jr. championed human rights and inspired a movement that led to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 – legislation that laid the groundwork for many of the protections we rely on today. As we honor his legacy, we remember that his work is not just history. It continues to guide our conversations about equality, disability rights, and human rights.

Thank you to for sharing these powerful images of , reminding us that MLK’s fight was not long ago – and that the work for justice continues.
