This is a massive bake sale we hosted to support the family of a staff member who has recently passed away. The tremendous support from community members, resident, and staff was truly heartwarming. It is a real treat to work at Whitehall Post Acute where co-workers become friends and family.

Ms. Harris is all smiles because of the good care she got here! When asked about the service received from the nurses and aides, she said, "Oh, they were wonderful. Really, really wonderful. You know, if I asked for something, they had it. I need help getting dressed, and every day the aides were there to help me put my stockings on."

"Being in one of these beds is very humbling and you really need people to care because there's a lot of things that you can't do for yourself. But the nurses and aides are here on the spot, and they make you really feel that they care because they go the extra mile, all of them go the extra mile. Above and beyond. And that's what you appreciate when you' down and you appreciate someone coming to your aid and being there because not everybody was willing to. I got family members that wouldn't be willing to do this for me. So, you know, you appreciate that. And the people, the relationships that I've built through the times that I was here, you know, some of these relationships will be lifelong."
