After 44 years of providing chiropractic care in the Berkshires, I will be retiring as of November 18th, 2021. Dr. Anthony Barone, a chiropractor with 37 years experience and who uses similar adjusting techniques, will be taking over the practice. He and his wife Alexandra will also be operating a non-profit organization 'Rejoice Children's Services' on the web .rejoicechildren.org.
My patient records will be available by written request until 11/18/2021.

Keeping the immune system strong is vital for health and for recovery if one should fall ill.
The CDC has stated that Covid 19 "is a viral pneumonia so antibiotics are of no use.. The antivirals we have for the flu will not work and there is no vaccine. Recovery will depend on the strength of the immune system."
Here are some tips to complement immune system efficiency:
Don't smoke.
Exercise regularly.
Get plenty of rest.
Keep alcohol consumption to a minimum.
Eat a diet of whole foods.
Increase personal hygiene such as more frequent hand-washing, gloves or masks when appropriate, sanitizing phones and tablets etc..
Minimize stress (easier said than done) with deep breathing, meditation, yoga, walking, getting organized and planning for the future.
Vitamins A, C and D.

To Our Patients:
In light of these unprecedented times, our office wants to inform you that we are taking this current situation very seriously.
Because we are an integral part of the heath care system in our community, we are keeping our doors open to provide pro-active care for our patients.
We will continue to serve our patients and minimize the need to visit urgent care centers for the treatment of acute pain syndromes.
We are constantly taking measures, above and beyond, to disinfect any equipment after every use and office surfaces multiple times per day. Staff are required to stay home at the slightest hint of fever or other symptoms.
We are spacing patient appointments to maintain social distancing.
If you are experiencing coughing, fever or shortness of breath please postpone your appointment and consult with your P*P.
The best way that I know to help you through this health threat is by supporting your body. We do this through chiropractic care.and recommended nutritional supplements, as needed, to influence the body's immune response.
Moderate physical activity, proper hand washing hygiene,etc, 7 hours of sleep a night if possible, avoidance of sugars and processed foods as well as minimizing alcohol consumption will all help with keeping your resistance and immune system functioning at its best.
According to the current information available, over 95% of those affected by this virus have mild symptoms and fully recover.
So every day, try to make more health promoting lifestyle choices rather than disease promoting choices.
