First, we just want to say thank you to everyone who supports us and our maple business. We truly appreciate it more than you know.
Just a quick note to our customers — you may notice that a few of our prices have increased slightly from last year.
For the past several years we’ve done our best to absorb large rising costs for things like containers, fuel, and electricity without passing those increases along. In some cases our container costs alone have increased nearly 40% over the last several years and we have held our prices as long as we possibly could. As we are all well aware, prices for everything around us have increased.
Unfortunately we’ve reached the point where we can’t continue to absorb those increases. It is just no longer sustainable.
Our coffee price has increased slightly. We purchase our coffee from a local roaster who roasts in small batches (which is why it tastes so good!). They held their prices down for us through December despite rising costs on their end, but like many small businesses those increases eventually have to be reflected.
Please know that raising prices is never something we like to do. Maple syrup is truly a labor of love, and every bottle represents a lot of time, work, and patience.
We remain committed to keeping our prices as fair as possible while continuing to produce the same quality maple products you expect from us.
