Brain Injury Awareness Month

Many individuals in addiction recovery are struggling with more than substance use.

At ALC, we’re seeing firsthand how often brain injury history goes unrecognized—and how that impacts memory, behavior, emotional regulation, and recovery.

That’s why we’ve built a program that includes:
🧠 Brain injury screening
🧠 Neurologically informed treatment
🧠 Psychoeducation
🧠 Support groups & anger management

We are proud to be one of the only programs in Massachusetts addressing brain injury directly within substance use treatment.
