March 11, 2026- Yay! The crocus and snowdrops are up! Spring is on the way!
This is always such a miracle to me! How do they survive the harsh winter? I’m covered in all sorts of layers and still manage to get cold and frostbite 🥶 but the “more than human world” is riding along on the waves of the seasons, seemingly no worse for the wear. And in fact more beautiful than ever! There is much to be learned here.💚

I checked out October Mountain Campground today. It was so sunny☀️ and beautiful, albeit soggy! Glad I wore the wellies! Near the yurts, there is a nice stand of Tamarack trees-a deciduous conifer! Meaning that they loose their leaves and have a cone!

I really enjoyed leading a yoga practice at the visitor’s center today. Five beautiful souls, from little ones to retirees, moving, breathing and making shapes on the mat. And the mountains-so beautiful!
