Hi all! Last call for our Hands & Voices NY FREE event this Saturday! Only a few spots left!

Please join us on Saturday, March 14th from 9:00-11:00 am at Lemon Squeezy Art Studio, 725 Pittsford-Victor Road, Pittsford 14534. This is a great chance for families and kids to connect, have fun and be creative! This event is for families with children who are deaf/hard of hearing as well as professionals that work with deaf/hard of hearing kids. This event is geared towards children who are deaf/hard of hearing ages birth to 10 years of age.

Families must register for this free event sponsored by NY EHDI and Hands and Voices of NY. Space is limited and we want to ensure that as many children who are deaf/hard of hearing can attend. Please be mindful of this when registering your child/family.

A glance into class🧐

This week, our Explorers Class (12-24 months) discovered different textures through play! What you see: dry pasta, toddler-friendly scoops, crinkle paper, play eggs, soft yarn, farm animals. What they learn: acclimating to various textures (soft, hard, rough, smooth), fine motor skills (scooping, dumping, pincer grasp), power words (help, more, open), exclamatory words (wow, uhoh, weeee), and engaging in pretend play (hiding eggs, feeding animals). A general time frame for sensory bin play at this age is 5-10 minutes - then we move on!
